I am a Managing Director responsible for covering the firm’s Alberta and Western Canadian-based clients.  My primary focus is on providing M&A and advisory services and assisting companies in fulfilling their strategic corporate finance objectives.  The MPA platform also allows me to provide expert reports and opinions and testifying for my clients involved in legal / arbitration proceedings.

I have an extensive investment banking background, having worked for over 30 years in the business.  I have worked at RBC Capital Markets, Merrill Lynch Canada and most recently at Scotia Capital.  Most of my practice has been focused on the energy space, but that capability has evolved given the dynamic changes that are occurring in the Alberta corporate sector and the strong diverse set of companies that do business here.  I have an MBA from the Sauder School of Business and a B.Sc.Eng (Geophysics) from Queen’s University.
